Entertainment: Hip Pop

For the longest time I've been backing Wayne and all the shit he does.  Although it's self proclaimed, he is arguably the best rapper alive and undoubtedly the hardest working.  

So what happened?

In less than a year he went from being the best lyricist with unmatched comercial success while still maintaing some street cred to a lame pop rocker with shitty Vocoder hooks.

Don't get me wrong I'm a sucker for concept albums and artists doing different stuff, but when it sucks IMA H8.  Outkast, Common, Mos Def, Cypress Hill, Ice-T, Del, and many other dudes have gone the "Rock" route and it's made them better artists in the end.  This on the other hand is somewhere totally uncharted and I'm afraid of where it will go...

Wayne, please don't do this to us.  Please go back to rappin' 'bout Lambos, Purp, Promethazine, and Modelin' Bitches. This path your are currently on is dark and has no place for you. There's only one way to jump the shark and make it look cool...
